Amherst, MA (August 28, 2015) – The Massachusetts Historical Commission recently presented The Lord Jeffery Inn of Amherst, MA with the 2015 Massachusetts Historical Commission Historic Preservation Award. The award was presented by the Secretary of the Commonwealth, William Francis Galvin, also Chairman of the Commission, at the Massachusetts Archives Building in Dorchester. Cheryl Hackett of Northeast Collaborative Architects nominated the Inn for its 2012 rehabilitation and restoration.
