HARTFORD, CT (May 11, 2017) – Associates at the Marriott Hartford Downtown recently presented two checks in the amount of $1,250 to both Hartford Youth Scholars and Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation.

Hartford Youth Scholars helps prepare Hartford’s highly motivated middle school students for a rigorous high school education; assists them in gaining acceptance and financial assistance at top college preparatory schools, and supports them through the college application process and college experience. Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation provides housing assistance and supportive services to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
